Whether it’s a blizzard outside or scorching hot, we may adjust the walks and routes based on current conditions. On extreme weather days walks may be shortened to ensure the safety of our dogs and walkers. However, due to the risks associated with walking dogs in extreme conditions, rates are not changed due to shortened walks. In addition, Sammy's Dog Walking retains the right to cancel service due to inclement weather that we deem hazardous or dangerous up to the day of service. We will notify clients as soon as possible for all cancellations. Please understand that our walkers are doing their best to accommodate you during bad weather conditions. There are instances where there is no parking or dangerous walking conditions due to ice and snow. On snow days when the client must have their dog walked, the walkway, driveway, or anywhere the dog walker has to go to enter and return must be clear of ice and snow. Parking must also be made available on a safe spot to avoid injury to walker.  A full dog walk will be charged to your account if these steps are not taken.
